Well, I finally got them out together for a group photo. What better way to show your appreciation for bikes thanto picture them with my car...valued at about $500 probably.
Here they are...3 Celeste Bianchis, one Bridgestone, and a Razesa. Smile for the pic now and say...campagnolo....

These are my road bikes by the way. There is still 2 cross bikes, one misfit mountain bike I would love to sell, the 1949 Vicini who is presently dissected for reconstruction.
Here's a pic from a different angel..fuzzy though.. sorry.

I appreciate your appreciation for bikes. Bike fanatics understand bike fanatics.
BTW: Sell the car.

Aug 20, 2003 3:39 AM have inspired me...for sale one 1993 ford esc-rot station wagon...some minor surface rust to the core but runs like a dream. $10000 sentimental value...but today for you guys alone...$8000. (I figure with 8 grand I can net me one hell of a cool retro cycle).
what a nice guy!Qubeley

Thank you for being so generous to part something deep in your heart. I, however, can not be so cruel and selfish to take advantage of you kindness.
If someone has to bite the bullet, please let me do so: how about you keep the sentimental value, eastimated worth at least $7800. I will just take the beat-up, rusted, barely working metal coffin. I have $40 cash in my pocket right now, plus some 20% coupon from Performance, Nashbar, SierraTradingPost (these are like gold to cyclist, ya know?). Please dirve the car to NYC, and you can take the money and coupons and save the shipping cost.

Better offer than...wspokes

That's a better offer than the car dealership when I took it in to look at another auto! haha. I ended up settling for a used Mercury Sable...wagon!! Still green...but don't fret...I still kept the escort!

But that offer...hmmm, all those you have created an earworm idea for me today.
