I found a set of Shimano Sante F/R Der. Freewheel and chain brand new in the box at a garage sale. How much could these be worth today? My research leads me to that these components where below Dura Ace and above Shim. 600. Thanks

Ahhh....Santé.

It started the white component fad. Suntour followed up with an equally white-adorned Olé grouppo. Sante was a nice functioning group that was really Ultegra before it was Ultegra. Worth? Probably not much, that is if anybody would want to buy it. But a little slice of history, nonetheless.

It makes me wonder if in 10-15 years, if we'll look back and remember the current black carbon craze on components and chuckle.

Was something like "The racer rides Dura ace, the coach rides Sante"

I rode them for many years on a Schwinn Circuit. They worked well. I would say Ultegra level
