Hello,
I'm looking for a replacement 15T cog for my (7 SP) Suntour Winner Pro Freewheel (ST-C15).
Where would be the best place to search for this ancient/precious component?
Replies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

It might depend on where you are. I've run into a couple of shops in New England that still have a few cogs left. Try any bike shop that's been around a long time, and you might get lucky. But when you do, be aware that the number of different cogs that would fit in different positions on a Winner freewheel is very large, and the same number of teeth could come on 3 or 4 different styles of cog. They are identified by a letter code stamped on the spoke side of the cog. Some have splines (different sizes), some threads, some have integral spacers, some don't. On my Winner Pro 12-21 7 speed the 15 is a "B" type, but you'd do well to take the whole thing in with you. If you order one blind, make sure you know the code.

Last Suntour cog I got was a few years ago, from Green Mountain Cyclery in Rutland, VT - (802-775-0869). I have no idea whether they still have anything, but it might be worth a call.
