Mid 1980s Raleigh Competition, what year is it?supercomp

I've got a mid to late 1980s Raleigh Competition. It is dark green (like British racing green) with white and gold decals. There is a contrasting Aqua paint on the headtube, with some gold contrast paint on the edges of the headtube lugs. The tubing sticker says "Raleigh 555 SL Double butted main tubes, all tubes Chrome Moly".
Components are Suntour Cyclone M II Derailluers, a Sugino A5 crank, Dia Compe Aero Brakes (They might be copies the look like the Dia compe but say GC on them) and Suntour shift levers.

retroraleighs.com has a page on dating Raleighs from their serial number. Might help.

I can't date the bike by the serial number as it is a japanese built Raleigh. Here is a picture of the rear derailleur. Does anyone know what year this is from?
