The way I remember it, Benottos were made in Mexico, and were patterned after Cinellis. They were pretty okay bikes, but chances are you could find something just as good at the local thrift shop or garage sale. In any case, it's no supreme, unsung classic.

with the $20 "box fee" plus shipping I'd say the total is about top dollar for that bike. I'd check the local LBS's for used stuff before I'd buy that on ebay.

Not a highline offering. SunTour made some great stuff but "Honor" is very average. That crankset was on alot of lowerline bikes in that time period. If you could ride it away for $50, maybe. But with this you've got to outbid someone already and then pay shipping unless you live in/near Indy.

Benotto started off in Italy and then move to Mexico. Many of the Mexican made bikes were still quality bikes and worth the $100 this onme will end up costing. This bike isn't one of them
