Well, I have been slowly redoing my website to include some classic bike pics, etc...

There is a mix of My old classics, other classic pics I have come across, old memorabilia, woolies and other older jersies...I am not finished. I have much more to expand upon especially in the photos of memorabilia. I have tons of cycling memorabilia from autographs to bottles...etc. I might not have enough space to post everything but I will try. enjoy...

And yes, I like the New Retro style Bianchi jerseys.

Your bikes are neat, but there are lots of bike pics on the internet. The section that got my attention was your wool jersey collection ... very unusual to see pics of those!

I'd love to obtain old Schwinn jerseys that Paramount racers would have worn, or even reproductions of them. What tips can you give me for tracking down old jerseys?

That waterfall is only about 1 mile from where I live. I Cross country ski down there in the winter. There are those rock ledges also which I ski across the lower base. I see Bobcats, sleeping Bears (no joke), and all kinds of interesting things. Great skiing terrain. Just wear orange in the winter hunting months.

The Jerseys. has the wool jerseys. I got one and embroidered the name of my parent's bike shop onto it. It is pretty cool looking! I plan on doing the same with the Yellow/red woolie...It will have Vicini on it. That way it will match my 49 Vicini bike.

The Bianchi Piaggio jersey was sent to me a few years back. I received an email from some guy in Germany who was friends with Gimondi. He came across a small Bianchi tribute page I had on the net that was connected to my folk's bike shop. He asked me if I would like to have a original Felicio worn jersey...I was speechless. In the end, I sent him postage money back after the jersey arrived. he wanted nothing for the jersey other than the knowledge it was going to someone who "liked the team and riders" and not a I have no intention of giving it up! The matching cap was obtained along with the Vicini cap just weeks ago from Cr listmember Steven Maasland. Great guy who got the items last time he was in Italy. The Gatorade clothing came from my Bianchi rep who went over to Italy for a trade show and intro to the "new lines" of bikes. While there, they were selling off the previous years clothing and giving some items away to the reps. He picked up the Winter jacket which was shared by all the team members...which would have included Bugno, Fignon, Volpi, etc...Whoever needed it and whoever it fit would wear it! The thermal which is really longgggg and thing belonged to Alberta Volpi. It has an area on the front that reads, professional racing team only. Very cool though, I don't know if they ever raced in these items though. I love the colors as well!!

I did a trade to obtain many of these items from Bianchi and Gatorade. Years and years ago. I came upon some Bianchi really good prices. Now, These watches have Bianchi written on the background and the little swiss symbol. This was before Bianchi had an OFFICIAL watch to sell as they do this year. Well, the rep was speechless, he never saw one before and traded me heaps of goods to the one watch. I will tape a pic of the other one and post it on the memorabilia site sometime.

I have some really cool memorabilia to get up and posted as well. Maybe I will put more focus on those areas and less on the bike part.

The coolest part is the little stories behind finding this stuff!!
Email me offlist sometime and I will give you some really good tips for obtaining autographs and some memorablia.
cool stuff; I'm envious nmDougSloan

Thanks again...

Don't be too envious. I still have to finish the den and my basement so I can display some of these items. Right now, many items are in storage.
