|Anyone here use a Nitto Moustache bar on a road bike?||Auriaprottu|

|...I mean a geared road bike, with road calipers (not cantis). Been checking out the Rivendell site, and don't know why no one has posted such a bike there. Seems like it wouldn't be a bad idea, but I only see this bar on singlespeeds, fixies and "all-rounders". I'm sure there's no drawbacks if you're not racing, so where are the road-specific frames with the 'staches?|
|Had my 'stache bar on two...no, THREE road bikes.||cory|

|I bought one three years ago, and I've used it on three bikes. First was an Allez with calipers, then my Atlantis (w/cantis) briefly, then on an old Trek that later turned into a singlespeed, where it's stayed.
There have been several posts on this if you want to search for them, but I think most people's opinion (mine, too) is that the mustache is great for shorter rides and general use. I was always comfortable on it for the first hour or so, and really like it on the SS, which I rarely ride longer than that.
Main drawback for me is that there's no position equivalent to riding on the top, flat section of a drop bar, and that's where I spend most of my time. After a couple of hours, I miss that.
