|... that's the '74 Paramount, which should have originally been equipped with a 2x5 der.
I just checked the spacing ... dead-on 120 mm.

|Older 5 speed spacing generally was 120, as stated above. The 6 and 7 speed road spacing went to approx. 126mm. Now the road spacing is 130mm.|

|... well, two, actually, one cog on either side on a flip-flop track hub.
I have a limited number of pages from the shop manual for the bike, which doesn't include the original rear der axel (I do have the pages for the track hub for the fixie version). It did have the option of a 3-ring crank, but I don't recall anything bigger than 5-speeds in the rear being available in 1974.
