Polishing chrome & removing rustheldveld

What are the best products/methods for polishing chrome forks and stays? Also what is the best way to remove rust from a frame? I would assume sanding but what type of sandpaper?
Simichrome and Mother's polish work well. As for rust...cory

Two good polishes are Simichrome and Mother's, both usually available at the fuzzy-dice kind of car parts places, some hardware stores and any Harley dealer. They won't restore pitted areas, though (nothing will).
Light rust can be removed with steel wool or sandpaper, the coarseness adjusted to suit the level of rusting. Off the top of my head, I might start with about 150-grit, then go down to 220 or so. There are also some pretty cool paints that can go right over the rust. One is Hammerite, which gives a "hammered" looking finish. Check Home Depot or someplace like that.
