|I discovered this chainring by chance.
The chainirng is gold anodized, has 46 teeth, 144BCD, the teeth are 1/8. I know it is a Pista chainring as I have the current one, and they look alike in every way.
I am only curious when did Campy make all these anodized chainrings, and what's the value of this piece.

|... I don't know the answer, but I'm eager to. I'm awaiting a 144 BCD 48-T chainring, non Campy, for my Campy Pista cranks.
I wish I'd stumbled on that one.

|but if you compare the two: the one you have has two holes between each spider(is that the right term?), whereas the one I found has one, but I am inclined to believe that these might be BMX chainring not track chainrings. Because of the color. If so, can I guess it is from the early 80s?
Is there any difference between track and BMX chainring? Campagnolo is still offering a "track" chainring in 45 teeth.
This chainring looks really like the 49T track chainring on my Pista bike(lettering, etc). I never had a 45T chainring before, so I am not sure they still have these "holes" on the 45T chainring, or is it a hint of a past period..
(correction for original post: the chainring has 45 teeth, not 46)
