|I just picked up this Ruegger Spezial and can't find any info on these.
Does anyone know anything about these bikes? it came with a DA FD, Shimano 600 cranks, brakes, HS, RD, Modolo DT shifters, SR stem & SR road champion bars. Shimano hubs.
I've attached these pics to help ID.

|it's got campy stamped drop-outs w/hanger, chrome fork, with green fade to chrome rear stays with a chain 'hook' to place the chain when the wheel is off. the front der. has a brazed-on mount. it also had mavic rims for tubular tires that need replacing.
i just can't seem to find anything on the internet, anywhere. i figured for $5, i couldn't go wrong but it would be great to know more about this 'intriguing' bike.

|The name looks German (U with the ..). Go to http://www.cyclo-24.de and click on IMPRESSUM and send an email to the address there. The folks involved in that site are very knowldgeable about German bikes. Maybe they have an answer or can point you in the right direction. If you get an answer please post. By the way, the fork looks similar to a Cinelli fork (maybe it is?).|

|Go here http://www.petry.org/markp/cinolog.htm and then email the person at the top of the page. He may be able to id the fork as a Cinelli or not.|
