|I just got done building my custom bike. I wanted something that "looked" retro but on second take was very updated. Sacha White at Vanilla Bicycles was more than willing to put up with my love of the obscure and even out-did me with wood fenders.
For more details check out this link...
Thanks Sacha for the great frame/fenders and the great help.

|Very cool. I've looked at the Vanilla site and he knocks out some real beauty. Gorgeous drop-outs! For other "artisan" builders check out http://www.bohemianbicycles.com/homepage.htm
It's a good thing I never have enough money to commssion one of these guys. Throw Richard Sachs into the mix and how would I ever decide who to pick.

|When the Vanilla site was under construction not that long ago I'd check it monthly. Beautiful work. Those fenders are definitely the icing on the cake.
Desmo--Here's another one to add to your mix.

|That is one of the best looking rigs I've seen. Great job.|

|I love it! I love the wooden fenders, I want to get a set of them for my fixie project. Where did you get them? That is a sweet ride! Congratulations!

|I gotta say, its unique. I've never understood the folks who wanna ride something that appears to be the exact same bike their favorite racer rides, never mind there are 100,000 of 'em in circulation.
You will NOT be having that particular problem. I trust you're working up a similarly unique riding outfit? Something in a retro wool jersey perhaps?
