Christmas has arrived early for me!! Yeah! In the pic we have some acquired goods over the past few months which will grace the Charlie Gibb.
Williams crankset, also inch pitch chainrings to work on the Williams crankset (2 rings). Several regular track cogs from Campy to williers (made in England and period correct). Then we have the Williams splined BB, and the hubs. Philipps 32 spoke front with grease port. Baylis-Wiley rear 40 with grease port..both in excellent shape. Inch pitch Chechz chain. I also received my Connloy rims from the 20s/30s and the cleaning process begins and soon after comes the building of the wheelset and other construction.

On the way, Zeus jersey, size 6 and Zeus shorts. These will look nice along with my zeus cap and zeus equipped Razesa road bike.

This is probably my favorite "work in progress" story. It's retro and it's a fixie. What more can we ask for. Please keep updating us.

Maybe if I get my tail in gear, it will be at the cirque! I just need to get a bit of a move on and start working on cleaning. I started buffing and polishing last evening so the motivation has started! Thanks

well done Walt. you have bought well.

good luck with the brake option - till you find one that will be period correct, swipe one off the front of a raleigh 3 speed as to an untrained eye the style of casting will look vaguely correct.

Interesting that you mentioned the Raleigh 3 speed, as recently I acquired two ladies bikes. I sold one but it was basically annihilated in transit to Japan and was returned to me. There are few usable parts but the brake! The brakes are intact! Maybe I will slap that one there. I have some decals coming for the Gibb also. My cousin works in a designing graphics place and is gonna punch out some decals. Things are falling into place. Now I just need to get working on it. Maybe I will have it finished in time to take to the cirque!
