Just picked up this Centurion " Dave Scott Ironman Master".
I remembered these when they first came out, I wanted one but could only afford the lower "LeMans" model. This bike rides suprisingly smooth and comfortable. However there sure is a difference in gearing from this 6 speed to my 9 speeds. Still a nice change up bike.
Yeah, I loved those...never saw one in that color beforecory

I wanted one of those SO bad. My wife eventually got a LeMans (still rides it, in fact). She was way overgeared with the stock 52-42 rings, so I swapped for...I forget, I think 46-38. Smallest I could fit, anyway. She'd never use the big ring otherwise.
An oldie, but a goodie! (nm)tmguy

... its got horizontal dropouts and would make a nice fixie!

But keep it geared. Since the fixie forum opened, this one got REALLY quiet!

Am I correct in recalling that these have the distinction of being one of the heaviest steel bikes at that quality level?
