Well, after all the globe searching I've done on the web I finally found a bike in my own backyard. '73 or '74 Italvega "Superlight". Parked indoors since '82, it's in incredible condiiton. Got it just as you see it but put on the Brooks B-17 for the brown leather Unicanitor. It has Super Champions laced to low flange record hubs but came with the original high flange Campy/Fiamme wheels too. I took her around the block a few times and can tell it's going to be a sweet riding machine. As soon as I re-glue the tires I'll take her out for a proper burn up. Cheers, Otis
That is quite a find.Dave Hickey

stuff like that just makes me foam at the mouth.

of course some peep's will scoff at drilled parts but they might as well shove it - pierced eyebrow and tongue pseudo treehuggers with bici that would be more apt in an america's cup yacht race that sitting alongisde the 'vega.

nobody will convinve me that a current campy carbon crank is anything close to as pimpin' as your drilled nuovo record babies. that just kick's ass (drilled crank arms is something i have never seen the likes of).

it looks suer neat too with well balanced style. perfect as it is. "smells like victory" is what i expect eddy would say if he saw it.

Great Find! Worth the search and effort!! nmwspokes
