Yokota Legend frame- any info?Auriaprottu

...just bought it on ebay. It's lugged steel, looks like late 80s from the photo (haven't received it yet) white with blue fade, bottle bosses on down tube and seat tube logo on seat tube and unicrown fork only- none on down tube. Can anyone tell me anything about this frameset or the company?

I remember seeing magazine ads for Yokota MTBs in the early '90s. I never actually saw one though. The comapany was around until at least '93 or '94.

I worked at a shop that sold their bikes in 1989. Taiwanese company, I think, decent quality for the money. Some of their higher end stuff was made by some decent builders--Tom Teesdale built one of their mtb frames.

I think they were gone (in this country anyway) by the mid 90s.
