|I'm looking for some interesting grips, like colored "jelly" grips from your old schwinn.
I've seen the cork grips from Rivendell and the black english 3-speed grips from Harris Cyclery. Any other options out there?

|We used to have a couple of '70s-vintage bike shops in town, and they always had stuff like that in the back. One of them closed and the other "upgraded" to compete with the new REI, so now all you can get is nine-speed stuff. But if you can find a shop that's been in business for 40 years, you might ask if you can poke around.|

|I get pain in my hands each time I remember my old Schwinn hard plastic grips. I discovered foam grips and never went back. I don't care if I go thru 2-3 pair a year, they're so comfy they're worth it.
Authentic retro grips are fine for museum bikes, but if I'm gonna ride it, its gonna be modern grips.
