|I posted this on the general discussion board and realized thru another person's post that here is the best place (of course)!!!
I am about to get a new pair of road shoes. And as I have mentioned in a previous post, I am trying to give my ti road bike a more classic look, and also thought I would like to have more classic looking shoes.
Thus, to that end, I am asking if anyone knows where or if I can purchase a pair of classic road shoes (preferably brown leather) that take SPDs.
I saw a pair of sidi classics at vintagevelos, but it seems they are not spd compatible.
Anyone have any ideas????

|Rivendell has a similar black leather shoe by Sidi, but no cleats. I have a pair of Sidi Genius 3's with spd adapter plates and I think they look pretty slick.|

|SPD adapter plates? Do you have a site address where I can check them out? If they work well, then I can re-check the Rivendell site.|

|The spd adapter plates are for the new generation Sidi shoes. The Sidi touring shoes that Rivendell offers do not accept cleats of any kind... there is no drilling in the sole.
This guy has some "older" vittoria shoes. Some are Look compatible, I doubt any of them are SPD compatible.
