|Agreed it is a classic among classic bikes but at that price some collector will get and its' legendary ride will go unused. $6500.00!!!|

|Just a quick glance noted: frayed brake cables, dry rotted brake hoods, rotten toe straps, and the rust on the stem would lead me to believe the stem is frozen in the steerer tube with rust. This doesn't seem like a bike someone maintained with the value they think it now has. $6500 seems way high for the overall condition.|

|This is a relist. CyclArt had it on a couple of weeks ago with an unknown reserve. Bidding topped out at just unser $5K.
Some months ago a very early PX10 got 2 Japanese collectors into a bidding war and sold for $7100 so I can sorta understand the wishful thinking behind the high opening bid. Don't think it'll sell as I believe the situation with the PX10 was a unique alignment of the stars and unlikely to occur again.
I agree that the current owner didn't take the best care and perhaps should have paid CyclArt for some cleanup.
