I dunno.
Don't care much either.

Black with natural leather. Nice.

Rest assured Spirito my boy, yours will still get worn often...I just like to have various gloves in differing styles. Kinda like shoes, y'know? Or bikes for that matter.

Anyway, $9.99. Too bad about the NOT cool performance logo. I'll have to burn it off or something.

They have the black leather PI stringbacks with the color stripes as well. Those would look snazzy with your Adidas methinks, eh Spirito?

Cheers!

but where are those others from - they do look cool, not very merckx, but still very nice looking.

spill the beans - its always good to have an alternate strip especially when riding with me mates as i forced them all to buy gloves from me. cant have the king wearing the same as his servants now can we?

What? And give up my private source?

Never!

Heh heh heh!

Brother, these are both ripped right from the Performance website. No big secret there. Which ones catch your eye? The stripes I assume?

Here's linkage: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/large_photo.html?SKU=14422&Store=Bike

Cheers!

'n i thought Antiques Roadshow was visiting OH and you stole a pair.

ahims' ya coulda lied to me and kept up the mystique.
now i picture you as the man from the the couple sitting on the sofa telling me how their life is so much better because they read the Weekend New York Times - "she goes straight for Arts and Leisure while i check out the Magazine". so white bread ... yeaaauuuuuuch !!!!

i dont beleive it bro, thats not you and performance is not your gig for a bike source. you've been swindled by the others to get me to go back over to the "i have a small penis but im a competetive male cyclist" general board. sorry ahims' - wont happen - genetics and my swedish pump wont let me:-)

not until Morrison is back from Guatemala - alive. that short legged, bald headed rockstar lawyer better have an explanation.

"ahims' ya coulda lied to me and kept up the mystique."

Nah, I'm an honest injun for the most part.

"now i picture you as the man from the the couple sitting on the sofa telling me how their life is so much better because they read the Weekend New York Times - "she goes straight for Arts and Leisure while i check out the Magazine". so white bread ... yeaaauuuuuuch !!!!"

Brah! While I do claim an affinity for a fine sofa (mine is red leather with brass studs), I do not read the NYT. Nor do I subscribe to magazines. I do however, play drunken croquet, bocce, and maintain a tiki bar in my basement. I enjoy Shakespeare in the park as easily as I slam Pabst in cans to rockabilly at the dirtiest club in town.

"dont beleive it bro, thats not you and performance is not your gig for a bike source. "

Meh. Go back and read my orig post on gloves here on the ol' retro board. I've never ordered a thing from them before. But hey, a source is a source, of course of course and no can talk to a horse of course...

"you've been swindled by the others to get me to go back over to the "i have a small penis but im a competetive male cyclist" general board. sorry ahims' - wont happen - genetics and my swedish pump wont let me:-)"

Swindled? Moi? By the rubes on the gen board? BWAHAHAHAHA! Those folks are like margerine, they melt under the slightest heat and are general tasteless. They have no sway over me. I'm still thinking of moving this whole camp off RBR entirely. As for the small penis....which is it? Genetics or the swedish pump?

"not until Morrison is back from Guatemala - alive. that short legged, bald headed rockstar lawyer better have an explanation."

Well, I got Bunny Cheshire's number. That big ol' gump faced samoan beaver might know where to find him.

Yours truly,

i have studied champagne in Rheims, am currently reading proust and get excited about films with subtitles. i am not a real beer drinker ...

i still think morrison was hunter s. in disguise playing a parady of the the socal family man.

Bocce is cool - Boule is better

(dont know how but performance send me their catalogue so i musta ordered somthing from them at some stage)

maybe we could arrange a sofa swap my red velvet baroque period for your red leather - the ole' leg opener has lost its Mojo lately. cant be me..... still looking for a Chesterfield 3 seat.

glad you dig the gloves by the way.

...just bend 'er over the couch then.

Anyway...while your sofa is faboo (as the queers at the north end clubs might say) it's a bit too much for my fireplace equiped uber masculine front room. My decor in there is a kinda "rat pack seduction meets macho east coast men's cigar club" sorta thang. Friends have described it as a cover off a bachelor magazine. Too bad I'm married, eh? Oh well, at least I can listen to my Dean Martin records in appropriate surroundings.

Anyway, subtitles....ever see "Shower" from Japan? Check it out if not. Good film.

Boule, huh? I'll talk to my mates 'bout it. Maybe next weekend. Still have Absinthe left over.

Morrison as ol' Hunter? Nah, Mr. Thompson doesn't dig the internet. He's not the sit in front of a computer type. More of a "shoot a hole in the monitor" type I reckon.

Chesterfield three seat? Any pics of one? I'll keep my eyes peeled round here fo' ya if'n ya can provide me with a mug shot of one.

Yep, dig the gloves.

And uhm...it COULD be you.

Cheers!

They can take our quill stems, our long horizontal dropouts...Djudd

and the good old quill stem is ....Spirito

...an ancient roman phallic symbol that the american MTB migration is trying to undo.

respect the quill stem !!

....i suppose next we'll be riding unisex bikes ... er i mean sloping top tubes. yeah its a little slope now but gradually over time well all be on step thru's and no-one will remember what top tubes were except us chest beating, quill stemmed metaphors roaming the country like outlaws secretly showing disbeleivers that shifting can be done MANUALLY !! they wont beleive their eye's.

money will be useless and the world will be governed by the mighty who have reserves of DT spokes which have replaced gold as a system of value. single speed shall be outlawed as its a politcal statement against progress. i see a time when there will be 4 bikes in 3 sizes and 2 colors. they will weigh 10lbs, have 30 internal gears but with all that they will have no soul and even then madatory replacememnts will be issued every 6 months yet most will replace them after 2 months to look faithfull to the ruling party. even cash will be forgotten. the words sex, drugs and rock'n'roll will no longer be words that exist on a page.

the end is nigh. grab all the stringbacks, freewheels, cycling caps, steel frames with chrome, quill stems, toe straps and clips and any natural materials you can. time to form a secret society now.

(meanwhile spirito is on the phone to excel sports..... yeah..i'd like a 54cm Gios carbon in yellow, uh-uh yeah ... full campy carbon 10 speed with zipp 404's, FSA carbon cranks and make sure you replace the bolts and that they are all Ti - i dont want any of that steel crap - its cheap and it rusts. i dont care about the chain order me a TI/carbon chain. yep i dont care how much - i made a killing selling stringback gloves and quill stems....., - got any of them cinelli ram stem/bar combo's - cool ill take 4 , im doing a century this w/end - i might need 'em as spares. and can i get some custom colored shoe's by mr. sidi - yeah to match the look - black and yellow. cool how much $9700 - thats nuthin make that 2 but the other in pink and black for when my sex change is complete.)

Pink and black?

Sex change operation?

Man, sometimes you scare me. Heh heh heh heh!

No man such as yourself could possibly even DREAM of giving up p*ssy to go out and get one INSTALLED.

...sometimes I just can't tell when you are kidding. BWAHAHAHAHA! (That's a good thing by the way, keeps me guessin'.) BWAHAHAHAHA!

Cheers!
