|This is comtinued from the 1966 Bianchi thread below.
Unfortunetly it wasnt a high end bianchi. I was looking at this thing from more of a riding around on the roads point. I picked it up for $50 if thats to much oh well. But this is what it is.
Bottecchia Campione Del Mondo 1966
Front brakes are formos
Rear brakes are Universal
Crank is raleigh
and the rest is campy stuff.
The only real markings i could find was the read dur. and it said Campy Valentino (extra??)
The bike fits me perfectly which is nice.
It does need a little work. The wheels need to be trued, tubes and tires and the brakes need work. The frame stickers are pretty shot but maybe one day ill tear it down and get it repainted and try to find some stickers.
I would like to take it back to original at least with the cranks.
What do you guys think? Thanks for all the help and information.

|Here is a link to the same exact bike on ebay. So i guess its not a 66. Thats what was told to me oh well. I was just looking for something to ride either way.
Mines in a little rougher shape and the stickers on the frame are pretty shot and the chrome has a little rust here and there. Whats the best way to fix the chrome?? Thanks
