eBay seller bikebikecom would you buy a used car from this man?unchained

This guy has no hesitation in "stretching the truth", or just plain out-right lying.

He was selling as w?puddle for a while. He would take an 8 year
old pair of Rev-X wheels, polish the braking surface, and then
tell everyone that they "appear" to have hardley been ridden.

"CAME FROM A PAIR OF WHEELS WITH RECORD HUBS, so these could be record skewers."

Yeah right. A guy that is constantly parting out bikes cannot tell the difference between Chorus and Record? How did he know they were Record hubs? Came from a bike with a Record seatpost, so they could be Record hubs...

"This bike seems almost new, barely ridden! The chain rings are still clean!"

"This is an outstanding deal that I can't believe I'm offering!!!!"
(must be the medication)

Well then, it must be new, nobody cleans chainrings anymore right?

They're Chorus - the Record ones have cut-outs in the levers and a D-ring through the nut - I have a pair of both
correct .... $40 for those is outrageous....Spirito
