Well, not much to update. The excitement of the garage sale style find is wearing off and reality sets in. All positive so far, the brake arches will easily accept 700 rims and I think I am going to get the Suzue basic track hub that is a fix/SS. The dropouts are Campy style so I am again in luck there. The only negative so far is the frame has no braze ons for water bottles. Still contemplating what I want to do with chainrings, do I want to use the 40T that I have or go with a larger ring and larger cog so it "looks" a bit more powerful like a track bike. Gonna search for post and stem today from my local sources.

My Gitane doesn't have water bottle braze-ons either. I picked a 70's frame because it didn't have shift bosses, cable routings, and a lot of brazeons, but I REALLY miss not have a water bottle mount. I'm looking at a Bianchi Premio for my next project and that has water bottle brazeon's.

What I did on the Viscount project was got a Y shaped handlebar mounted bracket by Minoura from LBS and it has one bottle now. The Schwinn has a space in the decals for a bottle on the seat tube so I may get some mounts for on and put it there. Nashbar has a bottle cage that has the Schwinn logos where the buttons are on the cage, could be mine.
