|... but I think maybe brushed aluminum would look better than black, and besides, I'm totally clueless as to what will actually fit the '74.
Looking closely at the pix, I believe it DOES have the BB bearings and spindle. That should save some confusion.
The bike shipped UPS on 6/12. I'm on pins and needles.

|i would say by the packaging ( they are new) and later style cinelli logo that its later than the paramount but would still look the part. from memory i think the lengths available were short or long but will check if you are keen.
nothing in it for me but would be happy to assist in getting the 'mount built and looking sharp. also saw a takeoff GB stem and Bar (?) with levers (?) and tape still on it from new , didnt have a close look but noticed its condition and spotted it as quite winsome, stylish and perhaps cheap.
when you get your bike take your time and work out a plan and if you need a hand or some sources post here. its such a nice frame that im sure we all would be happy to see built - not as much as yourself or course.
its a shame as i recently sold 2 NOS/NIB campy NR rear derailleurs that would have been a treat for the 74 paramount as they were both "patent 74".
good luck and try to quell the expectant nerves till then. im sure your hunch and judgement were right in the choice you made. i know the feeling of waiting as im expecting a hubset that ive been looking for for the last 7 months - i was elated when i found them (had almost given up) but now am a ball of jelly as i bought unseen but from a recommendation and they are supposedly new and in box. i imagine the day they arrive ill be releived. these are just hubs and i cant imagine what the feeling is like for the real mcCoy being that you have a frame on its way. beer will be drunk by me when we have word of its arrival.

|... the 'Mount will be fixed/singlespeed flip/flop. I'll probably have to have the rear wheel built up.
I won't be at work Monday, and if the bike comes, another employee will accept the package for me. He's seen the pix, appreciates the bike too, says he'll be glad to take the package but is not sure I'll ever get to see the bike if he does!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us ... the seller is an established bike shop that claims to know how to pack 'em, but I've read enough complaints about bikes arriving twanged that I won't relax until I have an intact frame in hand, with only ONE curved tube on it.
