Question about Miyata road bike(3 posts)

Question about Miyata road bikegaleek
May 8, 2002 1:07 PM
I am trying to get a used road bike for commuting. I have three offers now. All of them are Miyata road bikes and models are 310, 610, 710. I guess thay are from mid 80's. I am wondering anyone knows in what order from the high to the low end they are. Thanks.

My understanding is that with Miyatas, lower numbers represent higher end, except for 210 and 910, which are touring bikes (the 910 is nicer--I have a 210). There was recently a lot of discussion of Miyata on the BOB list. You can search their archives at:

Hope this helps. And for what it's worth, I love my 210 to pieces.
