|Trek 106. True Temper tubing. 6x2 speed. Sugino cranks. Dia Compe brakes. Not too bad condition, definitely not brand new. I'm considering putting it up on Ebay. I think it's a 55cm. Does anyone know the vintage?|

|True Temper tubing was mid-level grade, as were Sugino cranks and Dia Compe brakes, ca. 1980-85, probably when that bike was made. The high-end Treks had Reynolds 531 tubing, with Campy or Dura Ace kits. True Temper rode about the same as 531. It was just a little heavier, and didn't give quite as cushy a ride .
New, those Trek 106s probably sold for $300.-500. retail, going after a recreational market.
