I have a Miyata Carbon Tech carbon fiber bike. I bought it used (came with Campy wheels, full durace 7-speed freewheel, and sugino cranks with carbonfiber big chainring. Pretty fun bike that rides great. I was just looking for information/opinions on the frame maker and the bike. Thanks for your thoughts

I have a steel Miyata touring bike. Miyata was an outstanding Japanese framemaker, back when Japanese bikes were as good as they came for the money. I know they used their own proprietary steel tubing, and it was considered Reynolds' equal. Miyata also made bikes that were marketed under other brand names. Univega was one (and I also have a Univega from that era).

All in all, even though I know nothing about Miyata's work with carbon, odds are you have a quality bike.
