27" Rims solution!!Lone Gunman

I bought a set of 27" Wolber Alpine rims from a guy in Scotland today. 32 hole!! They are the dark anodized type. I had a set of them once, not too bad. I checked the net and found a local Distributor of Sun rims. He could get me 32 hole CR18s for $35 each, the price I paid for the Wolbers. Gut feeling the Wolbers will be a better rim.

Good deal!

I remember Wolbers as good rims. Seem to remember owning some Gentleman GTAs at one point and my girlfriend (later wife) rode Super Champions for alot of miles when we were part of a club whie in college in the mid-80s. I think those wheels are in my attic right now.

After posting I went and looked at the Nashbar wheels again. While you could get 27" they come with 130mm rear hub which I'm about positive wouldn't fit your Viscount.

I put out a plea for rims and he made an offer I initially turned down because I thought I had found something stateside and when that fell through, I went with his offer.
