|I've got the 720. Overall, I think that it's pretty good. It's nice to have all of the HR functions as well as speed, cadence & power (I don't actually have that option) in one unit, and to be able to view all of them graphed together. I have noticed that the Polar cycling functions & HR are susceptible to interference, though. I've also noticed that the Polar speed sensor will often under-report distance.
To be honest, I don't really use all of the bells & whistles. I thought that I would when I bought it, but I don't really use the interval timers and the like. The 720 has better storage capacity & better download capabilites than the 520. In addition, the 720 allows you to add the power option if you wish...
