I can't find a route map, nor much info regarding climbs, how open or closed the route is, etc... it appears poorly attended and sloppy (the results page is abysmal- they don't even know who finished last year??- comments like "did we goof," etc...)

I emailed them, and apparently they are not governed by any body (or "anybody", for that matter). My questions seemed to vex them, which was not my intent. Nonetheless, it appears it draws some relatively serious riders if winning times were at 25+ mph ave.

I would imagine that a 50mi RR in Trempeleau County, WI has got to have some pretty big climbs in it. That is the only county where I have come across switch backs in this state!

I've been in the county though never on a bike. I'd love to ride up in that area. There have got to be plenty of 4-5mile climbs. The hills are big and the scenery is beautiful.

The race was at one time sponsored/run by Brone's Bike Shop (www.bronesbikeshop.com) Bounce an e-mail to Mark for exact details. They have not been involved for 4-5 years, but he KNOWS the race/course. The course 6-7 years ago had mostly rollers with one major climb. one lap. A fair amount of good racers come up from LaCrosse WI.

Take Care!!
