|Hi! How is everyone? I just got finish taking a much need rest in my 2nd year as a Cat5 racer(at the begining of June). Taking the learning Curve in road racing in small chucks as well a my goals that I set for myself. Seeing steady improvement as a 2nd year Cat 5 racer, which has motivate me to continue. Well let me get to the race report. I went to Va to do their State Crit Championship, since they welcome Non-Va people to do their State Crit Championship. The Course was flat with a slight incline which made it intersting. The crit was 25 laps of pure fun. That not to mention adding a headwind coming in off the water(oh what fun). Well I manage to stay with the pack for a while ,before I was left to fight the headwind coming into the finishing line. The pack lapped me (2) before the end of the crit. I manage to beat 4 people out of the 21 Cat5 racer. So I finish the crit in 17th out 21 Cat5 racer. The shocking part of the race report is that I have a good reputation in the state next door to my home state(N.C.) They want me to come up there train with them. I hope you get a good laugh out of this race report and post.
