New PB ITT and how should I keep knocking off 1 min/month?Spunout

In my first year (back) racing, my 15km ITT is bested by one minute to 23:00 39.1km/h. One month ago, it was over 24 minutes.

I'd like to stay on this slope, and realize that the work becomes harder to keep such improvements coming.

My work has included criteriums, short anaerobic intervals (45-90 seconds), hill intervals, and a few threshold interval (6-10 min) interval sessions. I've shied away from the hills a bit due to a sore knee, but am ramping it up pretty good. I train less than 10h per week following Friel's plan.

My goals are not to be a great TTer, but to improve my power and top end to keep with the Cat1 peleton in a long (100km) criterium.

Advice appreciated, thanks!

Michael.

it just takes effort and time, you will slowly improve, look at the masters guys! work on your fit and aerodynamics as well, read and download the training guide on www.timetrial.org, it's pretty helpful
