Just wanted everyone to know that after a whole 2 weeks of training under my belt I've decided to do my first race of the season...a 135k road race with 3 major climbs and lots of rolling terrain,should be perfect for me....NOT! I figure I could use the training and what better way to start things off than with a race totally not suited for my skills! =)
Just figured Id pop in and say hi and let ya'll know what Ive been up to....Ill give you details of the horrendoud suffering after the race...stay tuned...it will be a good one! =)

|Ok. Go get hammered I guess. I'm not sure what you'll learn from it. What you "might" need is more base miles, and a training schedual.

|Being a few points away from my cat2 upgrade I dont think that I really need to "learn" too much, but what I really need is getting back to race fitness. I'll give my coach a call and let him know that I need a training schedule, I think He'll agree too.
just busting your chops dude, Ive been off my bike for 3 months due to an operation. I just need some good hard training races to get me back to form and this just might fit the bill. being my first race back from surgery im sure ill get blown off the back but not before I raise some hell and some heartrates as well!!

My legs are still burning from that race! Way too grueling...its funny how quick you lose the ability to suffer like a pig! hahaha
I got dropped on the second big climb of the day and ended up with the second group. If I plan on racing into shape then I need to add an extra 12 months of racing to my season cause im sucking! hahaha
The next few races are fairly flat so hopefully Ill fair a bit better =)
Ill be sure to let you all know how it goes! =)
