For me this is me they are the best pedal I have used yet. Wider platform, very easy to clip in and out of, plenty of float, also you can adjust the Q factor= how far your shoe is from the crank arm, best of all no squeeking from the pedals, come with cafe cleat I have had a pair about 2.5 months now and about 2,100 miles and not one problem to speak of, have never relaesed accidentally in sprint or under high climbing load. I would very much reccommend the impacts I use the magnesium model, Also time customer service is the best I have ever experienced.

Thanks for the help, Ray. I have worn out my old equippe pro ti/mags, and I am looking to replace them with the new mag model, and I am glad to have heard some feedback before I make the purchase.

The reason I'm saying that is I had the old mag pedals and they broke in two on me I posted a picture awhile back in the general forum guess it was from magnesium cooresion but very scary and dangerous. But time sent me the impacts at know charge if you want i can email you a picture of my old broken time pedal not pretty for pedal or me.

Weight savings is great. I dont find the "extra float" useful. I do find that they are harder to get into than Equipe Pros. But, since they are so light and do have decent size platform i use them.

I've had em for a week now, and I think they're nice. Smooth, firm engagement, comfortable. I'm thinking about tightening up the float.
