I remember a thread where you posted a pic of your recovered SLR. How did the person attach the new cover? Glue? I've got an SLR Evolution that is just wretched. I'm now thinking of covering it just like you did. Any suggestions? Upholsterer? Shoe repair dude? I love my SLRs and thought the Evolution would be just fine.

Yea, I had my friends brother do it, he owns a shoe repair shop. You can take it to my friend - He owns Budget Pro Bikes in Eagle Rock, his name is Oscar.

He does really good work, he also did a previous SLR for me, which I've used on my MTB for several months and it is holding up way better than the original leather - he even added a little extra padding for MTB use.

He only charges me 20 dollars, but said he would charge anybody else $35 - which is still very fare, I think,or you could just try your local repair shop...

I don't have a close up picture of the black seat..

I'll likely go see him. I'll keep an eye out for ya at the RB in the upcoming weeks. I'll be there this afternoon but I won't ride the practice laps. I rode a full bore race effort on Sat. and worked legs in the gym last night. Thursday is looking good.
