novice cat. 3 rider looking for a good coach..any advice..if location matter i train/race in OH/PA area. ideally it would be kewl if i not have to fork out loads of cash

TrainingBilble.com is the best out there You can record all your data in a daily log that keeps theinformation forever. So if you have a computer on your bike tha records data you can look back on past performance and compare. If you can find a local coach from TB its much btter. Plus alot of them do 2-3 traning camps per year and thats alot of fun

It lists hundreds of licensed cycling coaches, many of which have detailed profiles to help you find a coach that's good for you.

Go to the local bike shops and clubs and ask around. I did find my coach on the last website, but I bet I could have found him by asking as well. Some clubs have coaches and all you need to do is join to get access to the coach. My club fees are $15/yr and he follows TB. I have met him face to face once and he emails me my workouts everyweek. Very agreable situation if you ask me. He give, I do, I report, and I have gotten much better.
