|This skinny guy dressed up in full Postal gear, riding one of those carbon Trek's. Yes in the flesh, riding right next to me (for a second) a guy that has ridden with and done races with the best - Tony Cruz.
I guess he's in town for the Holidays. These guys even ride when there on vacation.

|Yep, he's a local. I've ridden with him. He was a member of LaGrange before going Postal. He raced Irwindale last year. Very cool to see him in the Roubaix early 14 man break. Which were you at last night?|

|Not alot of people showed up. I guess the dark clouds scared everybody away.

|I'm usually there. I didn't go due to the weather. I'm a fair weather rider. I'm more of a Tues than Thurs rider there. 3 full bore race efforts for me per week is way too much.|
|Kind of interesting that the rider.....||I_See_Fred_People|

|in the pic on that sites front page isnt wearing a helmet. Is that common in SoCal?|
|1 out of 13 is not exactly common||russw19|

|Not that I live there, but the next twelve guys in the pace line all have them on, so I would guess that helmetless rider is not in the majority. But I am basing that off the math of counting the riders with helmets behind him... not an exact science.

|put you do usually get one or two without helmets.
They usually get harrazed by the rest of the pack, crashes are common and nobody wants to see anybodies brains splattered all over the road. I did it once last year when I forgot my helmet, Man did they make me feel guilty, I decided they were right and went on my own.
|Yeah, what i thought unusual is that a club would use it....||I_See_Fred_People|
