|Let's hear about the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.
After last week's leg failure on the bell lap, I was not about to let the pile up that happened to my right get me in the wrong mood. Things were going pretty good. I sat in, the entire race, and had just got the bell. Going through the first turn, my bike felt a little funny. At the second turn, my front end felt all squishy. Yep, one tiny piece of wire prevented me from trying for a top 10 place. Now I've got a CX to pull apart, and try to patch. The race itself, was fun. I managed to keep my average HR at 171 for the 47 minutes of the Crit. (Not bad for an old guy)
If you did very well, try not to make me feel too bad !!

|Well my race (traing crit) was just about the same only worst. Try having 46 racer racing the B race ,with 35 laps(20 miles).Oh I forgot to say that it was Cat 4/5 and Women's,and 40+. A nice recipe for a couple of crashes. One person crashed so bad that he scared his elbow, and trashed his cycling tights. I finish behind the main pack . That not to mention trying to avoid crashing. But overall I learned more. We had 2 crashes, the last one happen on the bell lap. Throw in a couple of squirrely racers.
