Denver people - Anybody up for a Wash Park crit?(2 posts)

Denver people - Anybody up for a Wash Park crit?triple shot espresso

And I don't mean the unofficial kind that happens any time a Litespeed passes a Limited addition Trek. I mean the real deal. Anybody know what it would take to get a race in this obviously great location? I've been looking at the loop at the south end of the park. The whole loop would be to long but if you ran the race clockwise (opposite of the way people normally go) and make the 160 degree right turn it would only be 1.1 miles. Then funnel around the flower planter on the right side and then take a right at the stop sign. The posts are removable. The City Park race is cool but the pavement in Wash Park is smooth. I think it would make a great May crit.

I can't be the only person that thinks this.
