If you're reading this it is probably because you are interested in what a club may have to offer you (an vicce versa). We our founding the club on the basis of the cycling lifestyle which includes riding, racing, socializing, and general comaraderie among cyclists (especially in the area of Lancaster near or far) . We are currently in the process of applying for membership with USCF and Norba (for the racers) and have been leading a 1pm club ride on Sundays from the Bike Line parking lot on Rohrerstown Rd. There are ususally two groups leaving by 1:15 an A (racers and harcore--no sweep no lead--about 40 miles) and a B (talking and clowning yet swift and competitive as needed--lead and sweep are assigned--20-35 miles) .
We are currently about 25 members deep and go by Club European Technologies. We are expecting jerseys, bibs, socks, and vests by february and all sponsors are lined up. We will be holdiing a promoting a race for the USCF 2003 season and are taking resumes for the A team currently. If you would rather not send a resume you can race B automatically. If you would rather just ride and socialize you can just join the club and take part in our many get togethers and activities.
We like to hang out and ride and race and have fun living the life. We are looking for that type of person and those types of people. Does this sound good?? Call Dave at 717-871-6272 after 5 pm with any interests. We look forward to having all of you as a wing"man" soon.
