I have used the Ritchey Pro Max tires in a couple of races in the rain and they were great. They have a funky looking somewhat raised tread that almost looks like a skinny worn down cross tire. Even with the raised tread they seem to have a low rolling resistance and are actually faster than some slick tires I have used in the past. I originally purchased them off of performancebike.com. I think they were a closeout so I am not sure if you can find them anymore.

I would reccommend Michelin Axial Bi-Sport Tires. They have good traction, they have good wear (expect to get a couple of thousand miles from them, more if you rotate), good weight for a training tire, and they are folding Kevlar. The only place that I know of that you can get them from online is www.bikenashbar.com (700x23 only) and they are only $20.
