I'm looking at buying a Fuji Finest ,its comes in AL or Steel.I'm 6'2" at 230 lbs. would AL be to harsh or too weak for my size.I'll also be doing some riding in city on a few old brick streets but mostly on paved bike paths.

I'm 6'5" 200 lbs and I went AL. I was looking at the Bianchi Vig (I still think Bianchi's are beutiful bikes) but when I test road it the flex was VERY noticable. I need a 63 cm bike and the length of the seat tube was the problem. I then tested the Trek 2300 with the ZR9000 alloy AL. No flex which = HUGE power transfer and to top it off the road buzz was minimal this was the bike a purchased and I'm very happy so far.
