Has anyone ever tried this software? Basically, you connect your trainer to your computer, the cabling comes with the software, and race against a computer generated rider. There are no capbilities for networking and racing against other riders. Anyway, just looking for alternatives to hours on the trainer this winter in front of the TV.

I used it last winter to keep things interesting...but all in all the novelty of the thing isn't great...there are no hills or anything...just a stupid road that goes left and right and straight with background scenery that doesn't change. Of course it tells you how fast you are going...but that is relative to your trainer/roller and how fast those devices allow you to spin your wheels...I have the Fluid trainer and it requires real hefty effort just to be able to spin the wheels to 18-20 mph...so most of the time the computer screen says I am going 14 miles per hour...pretty disconcerting psychologically when you know you can ~18 in recovery ride mode in the real world. I think I am better off watching a movie or cable tv.
