A false peak, such a thing?Canidraftyou

In the past month I posted that I give 110% because my brother can't! My brother has pasted since. My cycling was almost zero, I had no "desire". This brings up my question. Three weeks ago was right between build 1 and build 2, im just now getting back on the bike and legs feel strong, but my cardio has lost conditioning. Im wanting to regain some kinda form, a "False peak" is there such a thing? There is a few races in sept. that I would like to do so that I can put an end to the season. Do I repeat build 1 or do a moderate build 2? My thoughts on this is to do all form riding, group rides, form sprints at 80% and do a few endurance rides, maybe something like 9 hr weeks. Then just prior to race week take it down to 6 hrs. I use the Cycling Bible, but ive kinda got off the schedule by a large sum.

Any input is welcomed.

There was an article on this a few issues back in VeloNews. Don't have time right now to dig out the reference date. Check the VN web site - the article may be posted there.
