|I've recently been experiencing some hamstring pain in my right leg after a hard ride. I'm also doing some running to get ready for cyclocross and I get the same feeling. Could this be a bike fit issue. I'm looking for suggestions. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

|Sounds like you might have some ot those dreaded sciatic issues. Running, particularly if you don't do it often or are coming back after laying off for awhile, is more likely to cause hamstring pain. In my case, when I quit running this spring my hanstring pain went away. I'm going to start running again this fall, but it will be ramped up slowly and matched by a thorough stretching program. Make sure you are stretching well, from your back all the way down to your feet -- it's all connected.|| |
