Good job on the State TT! Saw the results posted this AM and those were a couple of smokin' times you dudes put down. Zed, you are going to be crusing in 'cross this year.

I went out on a 65-mile ride (Froot Loops) on Saturday that turned into a Bataan Death Cruise when the wind kicked up into our faces on the way back in. Geez I hate U.S. 36 going south out of Lyons...
Zed rocked! I am humbled by his speed and power.Pack Meat

It gives me incentive to train harder for next year, I think he'll be burned out by then. Damn smoke killed me, I don't think I could have touched him without the smoke but I need some kind of excuse because other than the smoke conditions were perfect.
Thanks LFR and PM.BipedZed

I had a long-shot goal to go under 53 minutes so when I finished with 52:21 I began to seriously think I could win it. In the end I got the bronze medal because one of the riders that finished ahead of me was a USCF Cat 2 racing with a ACA 1 day license so he wasn't eligible for a medal.

Pack Meat, I wish I had your guts and skills in a crit. That's what I'll be working on for next year. LFR glad to hear you are back at it. Looking forward to seeing both of you at the cross races in the fall.

BTW, the Colorado Classics weekend in Granby is most likely cancelled because CDOT wouldn't give a permit.
Thanks for posting the CC link.chops

I am really disappointed the Classics weekend will likely be cancelled. I was really looking forward to those two races. I can't think of a better way to wrap up the season than two days of road racing in the mountains(and what an opprotunity to exact my revenge on all the guys who have been wiping thier asses with me in all the crits sprinkled throughout the latter part of the season). The situation helps illustrate why most local racing calenders are so top heavy with crits and circuits. Oh well, it was a nice try anyways. I guess I'll just hafta get my fix in Superior this weekend.
