Winfield Crit III (Chicago) “challenging climb”?TFerguson

Does anybody know what this hill is like? I'm running a 12-21 double. Should I have an easier cog or 2 for this race? I like to "sit and spin" up most hills. I had no problem with the short hill at Four Bridges in Elgin.
I'd say you should be finegreg n

That hill at Winfield is probably twice as long as Elgin's, but not as steep. Plus, you'll want to hit the hill hard to move up position and/or attack.

I've ever been in anything lower than 53/21 on it in a race and that was on a slower lap.

I'm going to be out of town that weekend so I'm going to miss the race. I love that course.

Good luck.
You guys be in Arlington Heights/Wooddale this weekend?rollo tommassi
