Correct position when being lapped?TFerguson

I'm 51, running my second crit and there is only one class for Men's Cat 5/citizen 19+. It's a ½ mile course with 8 x 90 degree turns. ½ hr plus 2 laps.

With the left-right-left turns, there really is no "outside" or "inside". Where is a rider being lapped expected to stay?

Lapped riders should be pulled. if you dont pull them, they dont have to stay anyhwere. The field is back together, racing as usual. its now the officials problem to sort out the results. thats why most races pull lapped riders if the field is large.

8x90 degree turns? better have plenty of EMTs on hand!!
