When I say top "10" that mean give or take 5 positions 5th to 15th.

He certainly looks to be the main man on form right now. He won the spanish TT champs by 30 or 40 seconds despite stopping to change bikes twice due to flats. He also had some confidence problems last year that led him to throw in the towel on one of the first days in the mountains, subsequently he came back and rode strong with the leaders and that gave him confidence that he could be a contender. On paper, ONCE is by far the strongest team and will have lots of cards to play. They should put time into everybody in the TTT, but the same could have been said last year. They have more top individual TTists than any other team but they need to get it together. I'd still bet on Armstrong but Galdeano is probably the next best right now. The first ITT before the mountains will be crucial, if Armstrong crushes everybody, the race will be over barring a crash or bonk by Armstrong in the mountains. If he puts two or three minutes into even the 2nd place finisher everybody mentally will be racing for second. If other riders finish close to him or somebody beats him, then I think we'll be in for a real treat in the mountains.

I think Igor is probably the most dangerous person for Lance, yet I never hear Phil or VeloNews bring him up as a challenger.

Can he beat Lance? Not if everything goes right. Can he beat everybody else? My money's on it...

ONCE is so deep in the mountains that Igor could be the one to get away when they are all attacking during the 2nd and 3rd weeks.

I don't think he comes from behind to beat Armstrong but if he gets a lead, and gets the jersey early..say TTT..or 1st long ITT..he may just hold on to it...

would provide an interesting change..seeing Armstrong,et.al have to attack..
