I am doing ok.
I had a crash a month ago and spent the last three weeks doing tempo rides and drinking beer watching the Giro. Needless to say my first race back, I got shelled big time. Although I did make a stupid breakaway, and wasted a lot of energy, I just didn't feel snappy. I am back doing intervals on the trainer and learned a valuable lesson and it is as follows.... If a program is working make sure you stick to it for the WHOLE season. By not doing enough interval work, I really lost a lot of my ability to jump out of the corners in the crits! I am back on focus and hopefully can pull a few more good results out of the season. My mental state is as good as ever!

Hey BLG

Thanks for all the positive energy man. Youll have a new job before you know it and all those extra kms will seem like a distant memory. Your no loser, you cheer me up no end with your posts.

Enjoy the time while you have it and try not to stress too much about the work situ. Ive been there and it works out. You should be going like a train before too long with all the extra miles. Catch 22, you have the time but need the money. You have the money but cant spare any time. Life hey?

Season is going to plan, a few milestones met. We have the Sydney (Australia) Championships this weekend. All the hard cases come out of the woodwork. Nervous but looking forward to mixing it with the big boys.

Post again soon some time!
